Your licence to use MixBuddy

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use MixBuddy on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use — including while you perform. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law or Apple's terms.

Recordings and content rights

Acceptable use

Use MixBuddy lawfully. Don't use it to infringe anyone's rights, to break the terms of any service it connects to, or in any way that could harm the app or other users.

Third-party services

MixBuddy uses Apple services such as ShazamKit, Apple Music, and Sign in with Apple. Your use of those features is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. Matched tracks link out to Apple Music.

Your data

How MixBuddy handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

No warranty

MixBuddy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Track identification, BPM, and key detection are best-effort and may not always be accurate. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MixBuddy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of data or recordings.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
